Brian
Safstrom

Brian Safstrom is Head of Research of Aquarian Private Credit. Prior to joining APC, Mr. Safstrom was a Vice President in Guggenheim Partners’ integrated credit asset management platform.  In his role at Guggenheim, he was responsible for underwriting and monitoring both directly originated and broadly syndicated debt and equity investments in both sponsored and non-sponsored companies. 

Throughout his career, he separately led both the Industrials and Transportation vertical and the Technology and Telecom vertical for the credit platform.  The 5-person team was responsible for underwriting and monitoring all sector specific investments made across the integrated credit platforms’ strategies which included liquid high yield and leveraged loan mutual funds and separately managed accounts, a credit opportunities fund, and direct lending with covered below investment grade AUM of ~$5bn. 

Mr. Safstrom graduated with a B.A. from Amherst College.

Brian
Salvitti

Brian Salvitti serves as Partner and Head of Origination for the Aquarian Private Credit team. Prior to joining Aquarian, Mr. Salvitti was Head of Capital Markets and Managing Director at LBC Credit Partners, where he was responsible for leading the origination of new investments, as well as underwriting, structuring and managing private debt investments. Brian served as a rotational member of the LBC Investment Committee.

Mr. Salvitti has over 15 years of experience in corporate and middle market principal investing, commercial lending and corporate risk. His previous experience includes Guggenheim Credit Partners, Steel City Capital (Unit of PNC) and Silvermine Capital Management.

Mr. Salvitti graduated with a B.A. from Dickinson College.

Andrew Librot

Andrew Librot is a Vice President on the Aquarian Private Credit team. Previously, Mr. Librot was a Senior Associate on the Special Situations and Opportunistic Credit team at Charlesbank Capital Partners, responsible for underwriting and monitoring both directly originated and secondary credit investments. He focused on an opportunistic strategy, investing flexibly across the capital structure and targeting opportunities across performing credits, special situations, and distressed investments. He started his career at Guggenheim Partners as an Investment Analyst within the integrated credit asset management platform. 

Mr. Librot holds a BA from the University of Michigan.

JC Pardo

JC Pardo is a Vice President on the Aquarian Private Credit team. Previously, Mr. Pardo was a Senior Associate on the Direct Lending Investment team at Blue Owl Capital, where he was responsible for underwriting and monitoring directly originated debt investments in middle and upper-middle market companies diversified by borrower, sector, sponsor, and position size. The Direct Lending team managed over $91bn of AUM at the time across publicly traded BDCs, private BDCs, non-traded BDCs, limited partnerships, and managed accounts. Prior to joining Blue Owl Capital, Mr. Pardo started his career at Guggenheim Partners as an Investment Analyst within the integrated credit asset management platform focusing on the TMT and Industrials verticals. 

Mr. Pardo earned his BA from Bowdoin College.
