Larry Johnson serves as Chief Financial Officer of Aquarian Insurance Holdings and as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Executive Vice President of Investors Heritage Life Insurance Company. In his roles, he provides financial leadership across the Aquarian insurance platform, supporting strategic growth, capital planning, and disciplined financial management while helping ensure scalable, efficient operations across the platform.

Before joining Investors Heritage, Mr. Johnson worked with Ernst & Young LLP as an Audit Manager, primarily serving clients in the insurance industry. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Johnson earned both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky.

Wen Liu is the Chief Actuary and a Principal at Aquarian Holdings. Previously, Mr. Liu was a Senior Consultant at Oliver Wyman. He was an Associate Vice President and Actuary at Vantis Life, and an Actuary at ING.

Mr. Liu earned his BSc from the University of Toronto.

Rozalia Xidias serves as Principal and CHRO for Aquarian Insurance Holdings. In her role, Ms. Xidias leads strategic people initiatives across Aquarian’s insurance platform, driving organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and talent strategy in alignment with the company’s growth objectives. Previously, Ms. Xidias served as Americas HR Program Manager and Chief of Staff at Genpact, where she oversaw cross-regional HR transformation programs and operational excellence initiatives. Prior to that, she held key leadership roles at global financial institutions, including Global Human Resources Project Manager at UBS and Technology & Operations HR Program Manager at JPMorgan Chase, where she led enterprise-wide initiatives focused on workforce planning, change management, and HR technology innovation.

Ms. Xidias earned her MBA from Monmouth University and her BS in Finance from St. John’s University.

Zac Anshutz is the General Counsel and Head of Regulatory Affairs for Aquarian Insurance Holdings. Prior to joining Aquarian, Mr. Anshutz served as AVP Compliance Distribution for Sammons Financial Group. He also served as Chief Risk Officer for two insurance distribution entities, Advisors Excel and Signal Advisors. Prior to entering the private sector, he served in various roles for the Kansas Insurance Department over a 10-year period, including General Counsel and Assistant Commissioner under the Honorable Sandy Praeger.

Mr. Anshutz graduated cum laude from Emporia State University with a BS degree and a law degree from Washburn University School of Law.

Isaac Maycotte serves as Principal and Head of ALM at Aquarian Insurance Holdings. An actuarial executive, Mr. Maycotte has over 15 years of broad experience in risk management, ALM, valuation/financial reporting, and pricing across different insurance product lines. Before joining Aquarian, Mr. Maycotte was Head of ALM Strategy and Hedging at MassMutual and previously held various roles at global multiline insurance companies.

Mr. Maycotte is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, CFA Charterholder, Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst, and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Mr. Maycotte holds a BS from the University of Connecticut.

John Frye is an Operating Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Aquarian Insurance Holdings. Mr. Frye previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at Advisors Excel, a leading insurance marketing firm. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Security Benefit and its life insurance subsidiaries. Mr. Frye began his career with General Electric, where he spent 20 years in numerous senior positions at GE Capital, the company’s financial services business. He served as Chief Financial Officer for both the GE Employers Reassurance Business – a $25 billion life and health insurance business – and GE’s commercial insurance business, responsible for covering medical, municipal, special lines and catastrophic risk, as well as GE’s European fleet leasing business. 

Mr. Frye earned a BA from Michigan State University.

Danish Iqbal serves as Chief Executive Officer of Somerset Re, returning to the company after serving as Head of Pricing and Valuation earlier in his career. Immediately prior to rejoining Somerset Re as CEO, Mr. Iqbal served as President of Neptune Reinsurance Limited (“Neptune”), a Bermuda-domiciled reinsurer integrated into Somerset Re in December 2024. As President, he oversaw the establishment of the organization’s infrastructure and ensured the entity’s licensing with the Bermuda Monetary Authority. 

Before Neptune, Mr. Iqbal was Chief Actuary at Aspida Re (formerly F&G Re). He was responsible for all actuarial functions and led F&G Re’s sale process to Ares Management Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Iqbal was one of the early employees at Somerset Re and responsible for Pricing and Valuation. He was instrumental in growing the company from its infancy to its initial $2bn in AUM. 

Prior to moving to Bermuda, Mr. Iqbal was head of insurance and pension product development at QRM Inc., in Chicago, where he worked with numerous Fortune 500 clients. Before QRM, Mr. Iqbal held actuarial roles at Genworth Financial and Life Settlement Acquisitions, LLC. 

He earned his BMATH in Honors Statistics from the University of Waterloo. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Mr. Iqbal also holds the CFA charter. 

Steve Belcher

Mr. Belcher brings more than 34 years of global knowledge and expertise in life and annuity insurance. Prior to joining Somerset Re, he spent 15 years at MetLife, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Global Controller and Reinsurance CFO, overseeing accounting and related financial reporting for MetLife’s global insurance and reinsurance subsidiaries. During his tenure at MetLife, Mr. Belcher held several senior finance leadership positions, including U.S. Controller and Global Head of Accounting Policy. Prior to that, he held senior finance leadership roles at AIG, including Global Head of Accounting Policy and Chief Accounting Officer of its global life and annuity subsidiary, American Life Insurance Company.

Mr. Belcher served as Chair of the Accounting Committee of the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) from 2017-2021 and as Chair of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Insurance Experts Panel from 2017-2019. Since June 2022, he has served as a member of the AICPA’s Finance Reporting Executive Committee. He is a CPA and holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

Thomas Porter is the Chief Underwriting Officer for Somerset Re, responsible for overseeing the firm’s underwriting and pricing activities. 
 
Prior to joining Somerset Re, Mr. Porter served in multiple leadership roles at Hannover Re in Orlando including Head of Financial Reporting & Valuation and Lead Pricing & Structuring Actuary for Hannover Re’s financial solutions structured reinsurance, captive, and derivative transactions. Since 2005, he has been dedicated to the reinsurance industry, specializing in delivering customized, efficient, and optimized solutions that enhance capital, liquidity, earnings, and solvency.
 
Mr. Porter is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He graduated with a BS degree from Florida State University.

John serves as Chief Investment Officer, overseeing Somerset’s investment strategies and asset portfolios. John has held various positions within the Somerset Re Investment department, most recently as Head of Portfolio Management, where he was responsible for implementation and oversight of the company’s investment strategy. Prior to joining Somerset Re, John was a member of the investment teams at AXIS Capital and Butterfield Asset Management.

John is a CFA® charterholder and graduated from The Hull University Business School with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics and Financial Management.

Before joining Somerset, Joelina was General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary at Athora Life Re Ltd. and Senior Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Athora Holding Ltd. responsible for legal, regulatory, corporate secretarial, governance and compliance matters. Previously, she was Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Allied World Assurance Company Ltd and prior to that Counsel at Appleby (Bermuda) Limited where she advised on all aspects of (re)insurance-related corporate, regulatory, compliance and transactional matters. Joelina has over 23 years of experience in the Bermuda (re)insurance industry.

Joelina graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) (Anthropology and International Development Studies) from Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Canada. She earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from City St George’s University of London, England and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, London.

Joelina has been a member of the Bermuda Bar Association since 2002.

Manisha Dias is the Head of New Business Development for Somerset Re, responsible for leading all commercial activity for the business globally and overseeing policy for underwriting and pricing. 
 
Prior to joining Somerset, Ms. Dias was Head of Partnerships at SCOR Global Life Reinsurance in Charlotte. She co-founded the partnerships business, which encompassed the development of proprietary and digitally-enabled Life product offerings, and led various teams through the growth of the business in the U.S. market. She was previously at SCOR in Toronto, responsible for new business development and cultivating an innovation footprint for the Canadian market. Prior to SCOR, she held several traditional and non-traditional actuarial roles globally across Canada, US, and Asia at John Hancock and Manulife. 
 
Ms. Dias has an Honors bachelor’s degree from the University of Waterloo. She also holds certifications as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst, and a Strategic Partner Leadership Professional.

Robert M. Hardy Jr. serves as Chief Executive Officer of Investors Heritage Life Insurance Company. With more than 35 years of leadership at the company, he has guided Investors Heritage through a period of significant expansion, including its transformation and largest phase of growth following its integration into the Aquarian platform. Mr. Hardy works closely with Aquarian leadership to advance strategic growth initiatives, strengthen governance, and position the company for continued scalable development across the insurance platform. He also served for many years as General Counsel, leading the company’s legal, regulatory, and governance functions.

Prior to joining Investors Heritage, Mr. Hardy practiced law with a Kentucky-based firm, where he developed expertise in corporate, tax, securities, and regulatory matters. He also serves on the board of the National Alliance of Life Companies.

Mr. Hardy received a Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville and an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.

Mr. Moore built his career at Investors Heritage, advancing through a series of leadership roles including Vice President of Information Services and Senior Vice President. He has led multiple modernization efforts enabling rapid, flexible service delivery across the company’s operations while maintaining a strong focus on data security and client experience.

Mr. Moore earned an M.B.A. from the University of Louisville and a B.S. from Centre College.
